LAS VEGAS, Nov. 5, 2015 — Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) today celebrates the debut of low-cost, nonstop flights to Las Vegas from Oklahoma City, St. Louis and San Antonio. The company, known for its exceptional travel deals, is offering fares to Las Vegas as low as $74.
“We are very excited to launch these new flights from these markets, giving these communities the opportunity to shop and fly smart with nonstop, ultra-low-cost flights to the Entertainment Capital of the World,” said Jude Bricker, Allegiant Travel Company senior vice president of planning. “We couldn’t be more pleased to bring even more visitors and economic growth to our hometown of Las Vegas.”
The new flights will operate twice weekly and expand on the service Allegiant currently operates to McCarran International Airport (LAS). The new flights will bring nearly 60,000 additional visitors each year to Las Vegas and generate an additional $31.9 million for the economy. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
“McCarran International Airport is pleased to welcome Allegiant’s newest flights to Las Vegas,” said Clark County Aviation Director Rosemary A. Vassiliadis, who oversees the nation’s ninth-busiest airport. “We know from experience that travelers largely prefer nonstop flights, and with these new, twice weekly offerings Allegiant will soon make it easier for more people to experience all Las Vegas has to offer.”
New flights launching to McCarran International Airport (LAS) include:
- Oklahoma City – Nov. 5, 2015 with fares as low as $81*
- St. Louis, Ill. – Nov. 5, 2015 with fares as low as $97*
- San Antonio – Nov. 6, 2015 with fares as low as $74*
“We are delighted that our partners at Allegiant continue to expand service to Las Vegas,” said Cathy Tull, senior vice president of marketing for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. “With a record 41.1 million visitors last year, every new seat provides opportunity for continued growth.”
Allegiant’s innovative business model has allowed it to grow from one plane and one route to offering access to low-cost flights in over 100 cities nationwide, more than any other domestic low-cost carrier. Allegiant passengers can enjoy unique savings by bundling their air, hotel, car and even activity and attraction reservations together for less.
